The Pre-requisites to Training

Isn’t it intriguing that designers allow learners to take a course even when they are not ready to take it? In most cases, the audience is a mix of experienced and freshers. Some may be in the role for years, others only for a few months. One of the basic instructional design principles is to help learners recall their previous learning relevant to the training context they are about to take. However, we see a violation of this fundamental principle course after course. No learner should be allowed to start the learning journey without a valid ticket.
